Chair of Business Advisory Group
Not only is Saraswati heavily involved in business affairs on the global scale and inter-regional scale between Australia and Indonesia, but she is also strongly involved within her local council. Saraswati has been appointed by her local council. The City of Canning formed a Business Advisory Group, the aim of which was to provide advice on the development and implementation of economic initiatives, innovation, growth strategies, and ways to diversify and grow the City’s business sector and profile. They have several representatives as key sources of advice to City Officers in developing Business strategies.
Saraswati was elected as the Chair of the Canning Business Advisory board group in 2016 and has been appointed by the City of Canning for a period of two terms ending in 2020.
