Astrid’s success started with her entrepreneurial determination to succeed. Her seven years of service as a flight attendant for Garuda Indonesia’s airline and the launch of her own airline business National Air Charter Company in Indonesia enriched her knowledge and understanding of people and the airline industry.

From there she switched gears and moved into the Construction industry, and later went on to be a registered builder and expert in that field – going on to create one of the most successful residential and commercial construction companies in Western Australia.

Sara, originating from humble beginnings, is an active contributor to her local Canning community, where she ardently supports organizations nurturing business leadership. She places strong emphasis on law, order, and community safety, which are paramount concerns for the City of Canning.

 

Her path to success began with an entrepreneurial spirit. With experience in both national and international business, she fosters local community and business connections, bridging gaps. Sara remains deeply involved in various local organizations and remains committed to community welfare.

Saraswati’s background in aviation was impressive. She previously served as the Commercial Director for a National Air Charter and freight company that operated regional flights in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. In this role, she collaborated closely with Air Traffic Services, Defense Forces, Directorate General of Civil Aviation, and Civil Aviation Safety Authority.

Flight Training Academy

Saraswati is the Founder and former Principal of the International Aviation Development Training Centre (IADTC). She oversaw recruitment, testing, and training for pilots, flight operations officers, flight attendants, and airline business and commercial ground staff. Her leadership encouraged IADTC graduates to excel in the Indonesian airline and air charter industry, a challenging task with highly capable students..

Tech Telecom Solutions

In her early career, Saraswati Vasile excelled at Redactron, a division of PanSystem. The company’s flagship product, the Redactron Data Secretary, revolutionized typewriting and text editing. It combined Berezin’s chip innovations with the IBM Selectric Typewriter, marking a significant leap in technology.

Her expertise extends to marketing and educating early computer users, making her a valuable asset in the tech industry.

Property and Land Developer

Saraswati Vasile, a seasoned Property & Land Developer with over 25 years of industry experience. She leads GV Constructions (WA) since 1995 and is the Managing Partner at Vazari Pty Ltd, overseeing a diverse portfolio including residential, commercial, industrial, and retail projects. Notably, she’s one of Australia’s rare certified female registered builders in a male-dominated field of 10,000 professionals.

 

She is lauded as a Registered Builder in Australia and was given accolades as: 

  • 2009 Winner of Business Partner of the Year by HIA- NAB.
  • 2010 Business Partner of the Year Finalist by CSR-HIA .
  • 2021 Winner Master Builder Women in Building Australia.

Saraswati Vasile is a graded associate member of the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia, where she works as an adjudicator. Her role involves making binding and final decisions in disputes, ensuring fair and impartial conflict resolution while upholding the principles of natural justice. Additionally, she currently serves as an active member of the official judging panel for HIA-WA. 

Education

She began her entrepreneurial journey in Indonesia as the principal of a Flight Training Academy and later pursued higher education, achieving a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Economics. In Australia, she expanded her skill set by earning a Diploma in Building to become a registered builder and completed a Training and Assessment Certificate to become an educator
